After visiting all five Utah National Parks in 2021, I set my sights on Shenandoah National Park in Virginia for a long weekend.

I visited from Thursday, April 21, 2022, to Sunday, April 24, 2022, staying in Luray for three nights. During the trip, I hiked several of the park’s most popular trails, including Old Rag, Rose River Falls, Dark Hollow Falls, and Stony Man, while also exploring Skyline Drive and its scenic overlooks.

It was a wonderful long weekend and a great first visit to Shenandoah National Park.
