Thursday, April 21, 2022: Flew from Chicago to Charlottesville, VA, picked up rental car, checked into hotel

• United flight at 2:10pm to arrive in Charlottesville, VA at 5:08pm

• Picked up rental car from the Enterprise at the airport

• Drove about an hour to the Luray Caverns Motel to check in

• Drove to the Walmart Supercenter to get groceries and supplies for the weekend

Friday, April 22, 2022: Old Rag, Drove Skyline Drive, Miller’s Head, Stony Man

• Hiked Old Rag

  • Left the hotel by 5:30am to arrive at the trailhead around 6:15am

• Drove Skyline Drive, stopping at the following overlooks

  • Tunnel Parking Overlook

  • Buck Hollow Overlook

  • Hazel Mountain Overlook

  • Pinnacles Overlook

  • Stony Man Overlook

• Hiked Miller’s Head

• Hiked Stony Man for sunset

Saturday, April 23, 2022: Rose River Falls to Dark Hollow Falls, White Oak Canyon Trail, Sunset at the Point

• Hiked Rose River Falls to Dark Hollow Falls

  • Left the hotel by 6am to head to arrive at the trailhead around 6:45am

• Hiked White Oak Canyon Trail

• Watched the sunset at the Point Overlook

Sunday, April 24, 2022: Luray Caverns, flew home

• Luray Caverns

• Drove back to the Enterprise at the airport to return rental car around 3pm

• United flight at 5:40pm to arrive in Chicago at 6:38pm
