After hiking 10 national parks since 2020, I decided it was finally time to venture outside the U.S., starting with Peru. It was also my first time in South America. I traveled with three friends. Over the course of a week and a half, we visited Ollantaytambo and Cusco, hiked the Lares Trek, explored Machu Picchu, hiked on Rainbow Mountain, and explored Lima.

It was an unforgettable trip, filled with incredible landscapes, challenging hikes, and experiences I’ll never forget.
