Utah - Day 1: Chicago to Salt Lake City

On Saturday, May 1, 2021, I took an afternoon flight to Salt Lake City, arriving around 5pm. My good friend Heidi and her husband picked me up at the airport and brought me back to their place, which would serve as my home base for the first portion of the trip. I was very grateful for the ride, as it was my first time in Utah!

We took it easy that night, had dinner at the house, and spent some time catching up.
