  • Drove 5.5 hours to La Quinta by Wyndham Cleveland Macedonia

  • Stopped at the nearby Walmart Supercenter for supplies

  • Dinner at Michael Angelo’s Winery

Saturday, April 29, 2023

  • Brandywine Gorge Loop Trail 

    • Park at Brandywine Falls Trailhead (8176 Brandywine Road, Sagamore Hills, Ohio 44067)

      • 5 minute drive away from the hotel

    • Spaces are limited

    • This hike is best done early or late in the day to avoid the midday crowds.

      • 1.5 mile hike

      • Duration: 1-2 hours

  • Ledges, Pine, and Kendall Lake Loop

    • 11 minute drive from the Brandywine Falls Trailhead

    • 5.4 mile loop

  • Beaver Marsh Trail

    • 9 minute drive from the Kendall Lake trailhead

    • 2 miles out and back

  • See the Everett Road Covered Bridge

  • Oak Hill Trail

    • 7 minute drive from the Beaver Marsh trailhead

    • 1.4 miles 

  • Blue Hen Falls

    • Park at Boston Mill Visitor Center or Boston Trailhead (1508 Boston Mills Road, Peninsula, Ohio 44264) 

    • Limited spaces are also available at the large vehicle lot, across from the main visitor center parking lot. Parking areas tend to fill up on weekends and days with warm weather. Consider doing this hike early or late in the day to avoid the midday crowds.

  • Viaduct Park to see the Tinkers Creek Gorge Scenic Overlook

  • Boston Mill Visitor Center

  • Back to the hotel to relax

  • Went back to Brandywine Falls for photos

  • Hung out in Cuyahoga Falls

    • Free parking at

      • Second Street and Stow Ave

      • Second Street and Old Town Loop (this is where I parked)

      • Old Town Loop

    • Drink at Ohio Brewing Company

      • Had the Front Street Fog

        • Good. Not as juicy as I was hoping it would be. Still good!

    • Drink at HiHo Brewing

      • Had the South Side 

    • Dinner at Butcher & Sprout

      • Shroomin Burger

      • Missing Mountain Zwickle Trickle
