  • Sunski sunglasses

  • Black Diamond Cosmo 300 Headlamp

  • Salomon Speedcross 5 hiking shoes

    • I absolutely loved these shoes!! I have higher arches and narrower feet and wanted something with ankle support. If your feet are similar, you might like them. I got them from REI. I highly recommend checking them out

  • Darn Tough hiking socks and Smartwool hiking socks

    • I like the Smartwool socks, but prefer Darn Tough a bit more, and tend to wear those more frequently on my longer hiking days

  • 2 bandanas

  • ExOfficio underwear

    • I really loved this underwear. They were super breathable and comfortable and didn’t smell or anything, even after hiking 20 miles. They’re pricey, but, worth it, in my opinion

  • Sombriolet Sun Hat

    • This was a wide brimmed hat. I didn’t wind up wearing it, as I preferred to wear more of a baseball cap kinda hat. My ears did burn a bit, though, as the Swift Cap didn’t cover my ears the way this one did. I might get one that’s a bit less of a wide brim next time

  • Swift Cap

    • This was the baseball cap type of hat that I preferred

  • AMK Blister Medic II

    • Didn’t wind up using, but figured would be good to have

  • AMK Moleskin

    • Used once. I hadn’t cut my toenails as well as I should have and the pinky toe started to scrape against the next toe a bit. The moleskin was super helpful, until i was able to cut my nails that evening

  • Neoprene socks

    • These came in handy when hiking The Narrows

    • I got the low-top size 4. You definitely need to size down. I normally wear a size 7 shoes. When hiking The Narrows, I wore the neoprene socks, the Darn Tough hiking socks over that, then my hiking shoes. The neoprene socks were so helpful. They totally kept me from getting cold!

  • Classic Safety Whistle

    • Thankfully, didn’t need, but figured better safe than sorry

  • Sawyer Mini Water Filter

    • Thankfully, didn’t need, but figured better safe than sorry

  • 5L Marchway Floating Waterproof Dry Bag

  • Shampoo bar

    • I wanted to have enough space for 2 3oz bottles of sunscreen and didn’t want to rely on the hotel stuff. It was helpful to have it, as one of the places Heidi booked didn’t have any shampoos or anything

  • Conditioner bar

    • I wanted to have enough space for 2 3oz bottles of sunscreen and didn’t want to rely on the hotel stuff. It was helpful to have it, as one of the places Heidi booked didn’t have any shampoos or anything

  • 3oz bottles of La Roche-Posay sunscreen

  • Chapstick

  • Brooks running gloves for morning/evening hikes

  • SinkSuds travel laundry detergent

    • I didn’t have to use these, as one of the hotels Heidi booked while I was with her had a washer/dryer in the room

  • Sink stopper

  • Got this in case I wanted to take a bath and the hotel didn’t have one or if I needed to do laundry and there wasn’t a stop in the sink
